By public transportation

To find your fastest connection by public transport, we recommend the VOR route planner. Simply enter where you are leaving from. If the route planner is not displayed here, use this link and click on the top left menu icon to switch the interface from German to English. The destination address is “Campus 1, 7000 Eisenstadt”.

The journey by train from “Wien Hauptbahnhof” (Vienna Central Station) to “Eisenstadt Bahnhof” (Eisenstadt train station) takes about an hour. Train tickets are available from ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways).

Here are your travel options from the train station in Eisenstadt to our venue, the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland:

By bus

There are several bus connections that will take you from the train station to within walking distance of the venue. Please note that these connections may not be available on Sunday.

By cab

There are cabs waiting at the train station in Eisenstadt.

By foot

It takes about 30 minutes to walk the 2 km route from the train station to the university.

By car

From the highway A3/S31 take the “Eisenstadt Süd” exit. Turn right at the second traffic circle, then go straight ahead for approx. 400 m. There’s a large parking lot directly in front of the campus building. Parking is free for conference speakers and attendees.

The UAS Burgenland website has further information on arrival, e.g. a map of additional parking spaces. Keep in mind that the university has a second location in Pinkafeld, so make sure you’re looking at the directions for Eisenstadt.
